Chicken Kadhai is a popular Indian dish that is made with chicken, spices, and bell peppers. Here’s a recipe you can try:

So,hello friend today i want to tell you how to make delicious chicken kadhai .


2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 green chili, minced (optional)
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup water
1 medium bell pepper, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional)
Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish.


Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili (if using) and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onions are soft.

Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until it is no longer pink.

Stir in the ground coriander, cumin, garam masala, red chili powder (if using), and salt. Cook for 1 minute until the spices are fragrant.

Add the tomato puree and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the bell pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes until the bell pepper is tender.Stir in the heavy cream (if using) and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
